Compensation Package
- Base Salary: Starting at $60,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Commission: 30% new business commission and some renewal commission (negotiable based on sales focus).
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k).
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week in the office) based in La Plata, MD.
- Develop and maintain a book of business, focusing on commercial lines accounts.
- Generate new business through cold-calling, warm leads, and referrals.
- Provide exceptional service to existing clients, including quoting new and renewal business.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Utilize Hawksoft software for account management and documentation.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (open to candidates with small, mid, or large account experience).
- Proven sales skills with a willingness to engage in both cold and warm outreach.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with Hawksoft software is a plus.
- Stable work history with a demonstrated commitment to previous roles.
