Responsibilities
- Obtaining monthly agency bill and direct bill statements and sending to corporate accounting team.
- Ensuring bank transactions are accounted for appropriately.
- Timely submission of corporate credit card transactions to corporate team (via Concur)
- Timely submission of vendor payable invoices to Corporate team
- Run production and commission reports for producers.
- Ensure premium finance funds flows are accounted for correctly.
- 3 years of experience as an Agency Accountant/Accounting Assistant within the insurance sector
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
- Must have Applied Epic experience.
- Salary: $60K-$75K, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits: Includes comprehensive vacation/sick time, health & vision insurance paid at 70%, 401(k) match, profit sharing, life insurance, and long-term disability coverage.
