This is a Part-time, on-site role for an Accounting Assistant located in Alabaster, AL. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. Day-to-day duties include supporting bookkeeping tasks, data entry, reconciling accounts, assisting with financial reporting, accounts payables and collaborating with the finance team to ensure operational efficiency.
Position will be 2 to 3 days per week during initial hire that require additional days depending on work load
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting, Finance, and Bookkeeping tasks
- Experience with Financial Statements preparation and analysis
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle financial information with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with general office duties such as answering phones, scanning documents and greeting customers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.94 - $27.62 per hour

Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
