Role Overview
Essential Solutions LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk for a part‑time, seasonal position. In this role, you will support daily accounting operations and help maintain accurate financial records. You’ll work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and precise bookkeeping, reporting, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and organize financial records
- Prepare accurate financial statements and assist with routine reporting
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and account reconciliation
- Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to ensure accurate financial tracking
- Assist with general office duties such as answering phones, scanning documents, and greeting customers
- Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and related accounting tools
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and general accounting processes
- Experience with financial statements and basic finance principles
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills
- Ability to handle financial information with accuracy and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Prior experience in an accounting or clerical role is a plus
