Role Summary
The PSA Systems Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and optimizing professional services automation workflows across project, billing, and revenue processes. This position serves as a key resource for ensuring data accuracy, system stability, and seamless execution across project lifecycle activities.
In this role, you will execute hands on testing, issue resolution, and data validation while partnering closely with Project Managers, Finance, and Operations teams. You will support system improvements, manage data quality initiatives, and help ensure a smooth transition during data migration and system enhancements. Your ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate effectively across both technical and business stakeholders will be essential to success.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute hands on testing across PSA workflows including projects, billing, time tracking, and revenue processes
• Log, track, and validate defects and enhancement requests using issue management tools
• Monitor system performance and retest fixes to ensure stability and accurate resolution of issues
• Perform data cleanup activities and partner with Project Managers to resolve incomplete or inconsistent records
• Support data migration efforts by validating, reconciling, and ensuring accuracy of transferred data
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and integration issues in real time during testing and system cutover
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and delivery teams to align system functionality with business processes
Key Requirements
• Five or more years of experience working with PSA systems in a project based services environment
• Hands on experience with Certinia or FinancialForce strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle including quote, delivery, billing, and revenue recognition
• Experience supporting system testing, UAT cycles, defect tracking, and data validation processes
• Knowledge of billing structures including time and materials and fixed fee project models
• Ability to troubleshoot system and data issues across integrations and workflows
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues to business stakeholders
• Proven collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across cross functional teams
