What are the responsibilities and job description for the Syndicated Loans Administrator - Consultant (3 month assignment) position at The Horizon Group?
An International Bank located in midtown NYC is seeking an experienced, take-charge consultant to perform various duties within their Loan Administration Department located in midtown NYC.
Specific Duties include:
- Booking new Bilateral and Syndicated Loan deals and Letters of Credit Facilities
- Booking Risk Participations
- Processing amendments, waivers, and deal terminations on the
- performing reconciliations and investigations
- responding to inquiries from external clients and internal bank personnel
- reviewing related credit application and loan agreements for new deal processing and amendments
- Processing Syndicated Secondary Trades
Ideal candidate must be organized and flexible, a team player who is eager to take on various tasks as requested along with having the ability to work well under pressure. Candidate should also have:
- A minimum of 5 years loan processing experience in a syndicated loans / corporate banking environment
- Strong ability in performing investigations and reconciliations of open items in bank’s internal accounts
- Good Communication Skills – Oral and Written
- Excellent organizational skills
- Basic loan accounting knowledge
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
