Compensation: 40-50/HR
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Manage and support a small accounting team
- Help with budgeting and tracking results against budgets
- Assist with improving accounting systems and processes
- Set up accounting procedures for new business activities
- Coordinate billing, collections, and reporting with internal teams
- Support audits and prepare requested documentation
- Create financial reports and help answer management questions
What they’re looking for:
- Several years of accounting experience (public or private)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience using accounting systems; ERP experience preferred
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other standard tools
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is a plus
