CopyeditorOur client, a financial services company, is seeking a skilled contract Copyeditor to join their dynamic team in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities:Enhance and polish a broad spectrum of marketing, client-facing, and internal materials to ensure impeccable clarity, grammatical accuracy, and consistency with organizational branding.Develop and optimize short-form content for various formats such as headlines, social media posts, email campaigns, web banners, and video scripts, tailoring messaging for diverse audiences.Work collaboratively with creative and marketing teams to produce compelling copy that supports business objectives while adhering to style and tone guidelines.Maintain and contribute to the evolution of the editorial style guide, ensuring content aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Review and revise investment-related content to guarantee technical accuracy without sacrificing readability or brand integrity.Manage multiple projects effectively, meeting demanding deadlines while preserving meticulous attention to detail.Clearly communicate edits and provide feedback, fostering understanding and consistency across teams.Support training initiatives to uphold editorial standards and style guidelines across the organization.Stay informed about product offerings, legal and compliance standards, and market developments to produce relevant, compliant content.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in English, Journalism, Communications, Finance, or a related discipline.A minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in financial copyediting and copywriting, with a proven portfolio demonstrating proficiency in short-form content.Strong organizational skills coupled with meticulous editing and proofreading expertise.Excellent command of grammar, syntax, punctuation, and AP style guidelines.Experience in asset management, wealth management, or financial publishing is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and project management tools is advantageous.Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent collaborative skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and geographies.Knowledge of regulatory and legal standards pertinent to financial content is essential.Our Commitment to Inclusion & BelongingThe Hollister Group is an equal opportunity employer.
