The Highlands Living Center, located in picturesque Pittsford, New York (a suburb of Rochester), is seeking a New York State licensed Nursing Home Administrator. The Highlands Living Center is a 120-bed home serving memory care, rehabilitation, and long-term care residents. The Highlands Living Center is an affiliate of the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC).

The primary purpose of this position is to lead, manage and oversee the daily operations as the facilities chief administrator by identifying and guiding strategic initiatives, managing operations to assure high quality clinical care and services, serving as the principal advocate for residents and their families and promoting the core values of the organization. Responsible for the fiscal performance while promoting the quality of life and wellbeing for all residents.

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred in the field of administration, health, or social services. A minimum of three years of experience required, preferably in the planning or administration of health or social services. Strong organizational and communication skills with composure and poise in emergency situations. Must exhibit a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conductive to growth.
