HR Generalist responsibilities:

HR Generalist responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality HR generalist support across the USA and EU
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers on people focused initiatives
- Provide hands on coaching to managers, including guidance on employee relations, performance, and compliance
- Manage end to end recruitment for U.S. and EU roles, including job design, interviews, offers, and onboarding
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance
- Lead HR operations including offboarding, exit interviews, and HR system management (HRM, 15Five)
- Support culture and engagement initiatives including OKRs, check ins, surveys, events, and charity programs
- Ensure adherence to employment laws across relevant jurisdictions and support internal audits
- Build relationships with external partners such as recruitment agencies and L&D/coaching providers
- Participate in safety, sustainability, and employee engagement committees
- Model organizational values
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
- 8 years of HR generalist experience supporting ~30–50 employees, ideally within an SME environment
- A degree or certificate in Human Resources or a related field
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions (recruitment, training, ER, compliance, development)
- High emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and a mature, professional presence
- A proactive, solutions oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Strong judgment and ability to balance compliance with practical business needs
- Ability to manage changing priorities, competing demands, and high pressure situations
- Experience coordinating with global teams is an asset (EU exposure not required)
- Resourceful, hands on, resilient, and highly organized
- The discussed salary range is $85,000 – $100,00, depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
