Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound and outbound inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Create, print, and distribute menus and materials for private parties and events
- Support the booking process as needed, stepping in to take on bookings when the Event Sales Manager is unavailable
- Coordinate on-site event setup independently, working directly with on-site managers and team members to ensure spaces are prepared and adjusted as needed
- Collaborate with Front of House and Back of House teams to ensure seamless event execution across formats and scales
- Support exceptional event experiences and well organized event plans that clearly communicate client expectations to the Front of House and Back of House
- Conduct venue walk-throughs with prospective clients, showcasing event spaces and answering questions about offerings, procedures, and event flow
- Serve as a brand ambassador, greeting guests and maintaining the image and standards of the venue at all events
- Attend and support all venue buyouts and large-scale events
- Ensure all Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), notes, and event details are complete, accurate, and accessible to all relevant parties
- Verify that event information is consistent across all platforms, including email communications, TripleSeat, and OpenTable
- Partner with the marketing team to represent the needs and priorities of the events department as needed
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Event Sales Manager
- Assist and support the achievement of quarterly and annual event sales goals
- Support internal communication and timelines for food, beverage, rental, and equipment orders
- Ensure adherence to company policies, operational standards, and applicable labor and wage regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Event Sales Manager or the Operations team
Qualifications
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Professional presence and guest-focused mindset
- Must have considerable skill in math and algebraic equations using percentages
- Demonstrates positive characteristics which inspire other team members to meet and exceed standards
- Professional personal presentation
Compensation
$25-$28/hr commission
