The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Edwards AFB, CA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

Pay: $82.49/hr on W2

Shift: 100% Onsite

Duration: 12-months to start - potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget.

Overview:

The Test & Evaluation organization has an exciting opening for a Flight Test Conductor for T-7A program located at Edwards AFB, CA. The Test Conductor will lead flight test program planning and execution, which will include many aspects of flight sciences and mission systems.

• Supports the development and verification of test methods
• Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan
• Performs detailed planning and execution of aircraft ground and flight test
• Reviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer
• Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements
• Presents test results internally
• Archives data and reports
• Trains/Guides junior test conductors with their career development in flight test

Qualifications:

Must have an active clearance.

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry required.

5 years of experience with the principles of flight test OR experience directly supporting flight test operations required.

5 years of experience in planning and conducting system level lab, ground, or flight testing required.

100 hours of control room experience as a Test Conductor required.

5 years of experience performing tactical aircraft flight testing (planning and/or executing) preferred.

5 years of experience directly interfacing with customers and senior program leadership preferred.

5 years of experience developing detailed test points from system level specification requirements, test planning, execution and reporting test results preferred
