The engineer will support requirements analysis, test design, execution, and defect resolution while working in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, write, and execute test cases in alignment with company practices, FDA regulations, and ISO standards
- Design and develop new test suites for features and functionality
- Perform dry runs and formal verification and validation (V&V) activities
- Set up and configure test equipment
- Identify, document, and resolve defects discovered during testing
- Participate in requirements, design, and test reviews
- Collaborate both independently and within cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
- Strong coding skills (testing experience not required)
- Understanding of software testing principles
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) tools
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and follow-up skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation capabilities
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
- Proactive, self-starter with a positive and energized attitude
- 0-2 years of experience
- Background in medical devices (nice to have, not required)
- Degree in Computer Science strongly preferred
