The Fountain Group is currently seeking a R&D Test Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in North Chicago, IL. Details for the position are as follows:
Pay: $40-$45/hr
8-month contract assignment (with potential to extend/convert based on performance and budget)
Job Description:
- Working in the medical device development industry performing exploratory & design verification testing of drug delivery devices.
- Acting as Lab Support, developing, validating, & transferring test methods & executing test protocols supporting exploratory & verification testing, analyzing data, documenting in lab notebooks, & presenting results to cross-functional teams;
- Testing using Zwick (UTM), machine shop equipment, 3D printers, volumetric accuracy equipment, viscometers, & climate chambers;
- Developing, managing, and maintaining complex technical drawings and designs using SolidWorks;
- Performing statistical analysis of data
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree is required in engineering or related field.
- 3 years of related experience is required (1 year with masters degree).
- Must have design verification testing and laboratory experience.
- Experience using Zwick (UTM), machine shop equipment, 3D printers, volumetric accuracy equipment, viscometers, & climate chambers is preferred.
