We are seeking an entry-level Software Verification Engineer I to support testing and validation efforts for innovative healthcare technology products. You will begin with structured training and quickly transition into executing manual test cases, with opportunities to grow into test development and automation support over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality
- Perform functional and regression testing on new features and product enhancements
- Review and document test results, defects, and issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, software development, systems engineering, and regulatory
- Assist in developing and refining test cases after initial onboarding period
- Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings, reviews, and continuous improvement efforts
- Complete onboarding and technical training
- Gain a strong understanding of the product and system workflows
- Begin executing test cases with accuracy and efficiency
- Contribute to team deliverables and testing cycles
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
- 0-2 years of experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to software testing or quality assurance (academic or professional)
- Familiarity with:
- Test case creation and execution
- Functional and regression testing
- Basic knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
- Experience or coursework related to healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments
- 100% onsite role in St. Paul, MN
- Standard schedule: 40 hours/week (5 days/week, 8 hours/day)
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment with cross-functional interaction
- Initial training period followed by hands-on project work
