Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Analysis:
- Construct and interpret sophisticated financial models, including 13-week cash flow forecasts and integrated three-statement forecasts.
- Analyze intricate data sets to derive valuable insights for turnaround efforts and investment decisions.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of long-term business plans, focused on tracking performance, managing working capital, and cost reduction.
Project Execution & Collaboration:
- Lead key workstreams in sell-side execution initiatives and drive transaction processes to close.
- Engage in all facets of transaction execution, including valuation analysis and implementing cash conservation strategies.
- Drive initiatives that center on value creation and return maximization.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Prepare and report financial results both internally to management teams and externally to boards, lenders, and investors.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and management, communicating effectively across all hierarchy levels.
- Work both autonomously and collaboratively in a high-velocity, entrepreneurial setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in areas like restructuring advisory, distressed investment banking, distressed private equity, hedge funds, or distressed management consulting.
- Educational Background: Preferably a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. A Master's or MBA is a significant plus.
- Technical & Analytical Prowess: Proficient in financial modeling with a keen ability to dissect vast data sets for actionable insights. Must have advanced experience building complex financial models (including 13-week cash flow and 3-statement models) with limited oversight.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written capabilities, ensuring clarity and understanding across all engagement levels.
- Personal Attributes: High organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and an inherent ability to juggle multiple priorities. A robust composure, unwavering work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
- Travel: Openness to travel as and when required.
Competitive compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $185,000, depending on the experience, qualifications, and relevant skill sets. Base salary is only a portion of the total compensation. There is an extremely generous bonus plan with additional performance-based upside.
