Position Overview:
The Investment Associate will play a key role in evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio company initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, a deep interest in healthcare, and prior experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities
- Assist in sourcing new deals through industry research, networking, and market mapping
- Support transaction execution, including deal structuring, documentation, and coordination with advisors and management teams
- Monitor and analyze portfolio company performance, identifying areas for strategic and operational improvement
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and materials for the Investment Committee
- Collaborate closely with senior team members and portfolio company leadership to implement value-creation initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- 3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and transaction processes
- Experience or strong interest in the healthcare sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, entrepreneurial team environment
- High level of initiative, integrity, and attention to detail
