Position Overview
The Video Game Manager will provide strategic, creative, and operational leadership for the development of The Donovan’s Venom’s video game projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the game development lifecycle from concept and planning through execution and delivery. The Video Game Manager will develop project roadmaps, establish timelines and milestones, organize development workflows, coordinate cross-functional team members, and ensure tasks are clearly assigned and completed on schedule.
The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with an understanding of game design, development processes, storytelling, player experience, and creative production. Working closely with designers, developers, artists, writers, and other contributors, the Video Game Manager will ensure that the game remains aligned with the organization's vision, quality standards, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of video game development projects from concept through completion.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project roadmaps, milestones, timelines, and development schedules.
- Organize and coordinate the game development team, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, priorities, and expectations.
- Assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and ensure deliverables are completed within established timelines.
- Collaborate with game designers, developers, artists, writers, audio professionals, and other contributors to maintain alignment across teams.
- Help shape the game's concept, gameplay direction, mechanics, player experience, storytelling, and overall creative vision.
- Establish project priorities and manage workflows to keep development organized, efficient, and focused on key objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve workflow challenges, and communicate updates to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Review game features, builds, and deliverables to ensure they meet established creative, technical, and quality expectations.
- Facilitate team meetings, planning sessions, progress reviews, and project retrospectives to maintain communication and accountability.
- Support resource planning and help identify the tools, skills, and personnel needed to successfully execute the project.
- Continuously improve development processes, documentation, collaboration practices, and project management workflows.
