What You’ll Own
Financial Strategy & Sustainability
- Develop and lead the organization’s financial strategy
- Align financial planning with growth, programs, and partnerships
- Ensure long-term financial sustainability and resource optimization
- Build and manage budgets and financial forecasts
- Support leadership with scenario planning and financial insights
- Monitor performance and guide decision-making with data
- Establish clear, accurate, and timely financial reporting
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks for leadership and Board
- Ensure transparency across stakeholders, donors, and partners
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations (501(c)(3))
- Build and maintain financial policies, controls, and audit readiness
- Promote accountability and ethical financial practices
- Oversee financial tracking and reporting of grants and funding
- Align funding strategies with financial planning
- Ensure proper use and reporting of restricted funds
- Identify financial risks and build mitigation strategies
- Monitor cash flow, sustainability, and financial health
- Advise leadership on financial implications of decisions
- Partner with leadership to align financial strategy with operations and growth
- Support fundraising, partnerships, and program development
- Serve as a key financial advisor to leadership and Board
This role is for someone who

Required
- 5 years in finance, accounting, or financial leadership roles
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Strong understanding of financial systems and controls
- Experience in nonprofit finance or grant management
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification
- Experience supporting scaling or early-stage organizations
- 10–20 hours per week
