We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Training Specialist to support the development, coordination, and delivery of training programs in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for facilitating training in diverse group settings, identifying learning needs, and designing effective learning interventions that align with business objectives. The Training Specialist will partner closely with management and cross-functional teams to support employee development, maintain training compliance, and improve overall training effectiveness.
This position requires strong communication, organization, and project management skills, along with the ability to analyze data, track training metrics, and conduct audits with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A significant portion of the role will involve supporting employees directly on the production floor, with approximately 40–50% of time spent in manufacturing areas depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and deliver training programs in individual and group settings
- Design and implement learning interventions based on operational and business needs
- Partner with leadership to identify training gaps and support organizational objectives
- Analyze training data and metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
- Conduct training audits and maintain accurate training documentation and records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to training processes and compliance
- Manage training-related projects, schedules, and priorities
- Provide hands-on support to employees within the production environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field, OR equivalent practical and transferable experience
- Understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies
- Experience designing and delivering training programs tied to business needs
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform audits accurately
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Additional Information
- 100% onsite position
- Nonexempt role; hours worked over 40 per week are eligible for overtime pay at time-and-a-half rates
- Approximately 40–50% of time spent on the production floor depending on daily business need

- Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines.
