We are seeking a Quality Technician I who will serve as the voice of the customer and advocate for the end consumer. In this role, you will help ensure our products meet the highest standards by performing inspections, audits, and quality evaluations in a manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform first-piece inspections and routine visual and dimensional analysis of finished products.
- Conduct first article inspections and evaluations.
- Complete floor audits of paperwork, materials, finished products, and control plans according to inspection requirements.
- Inspect non-conforming products and initiate containment activities.
- Execute procedures and documentation related to non-conforming materials.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure daily objectives are met.
- Escalate issues to the Lead Quality Inspector when necessary.
- Operate inspection and measurement equipment effectively.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all Health, Safety, Quality, GMP, and company guidelines.
- Support compliance with ISO 13485 and cGMP requirements where applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities in SQF-Certified Facilities
- Follow cGMP and Good Hygiene Practices.
- Assist with basic sanitation functions.
- Support HACCP, SQF, food safety, food defense, and food fraud programs.
- Identify and report food safety and quality concerns.
- Initiate actions to prevent nonconformities and execute hold procedures when necessary.
- Ensure nonconforming products are properly contained until corrective actions are completed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or vocational/technical school graduate.
- 0–1 years of experience in Quality Control or a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software applications.
- Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Gauge R&R concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, and safety documents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
- Experience with visual inspection standards and processes.
- Experience working in ISO-regulated, cleanroom, or GMP environments.

Schedule
- 6:00pm to 6:15am rotating (must train on day shift)
Benefits
- Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines.
