We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse and logistics operations. This role is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, operating shipping systems, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and food safety requirements.
The ideal candidate will have shipping and receiving experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team-focused environment.
As a key member of our operations team, you will help ensure products are shipped accurately, received efficiently, and handled in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify physical inventory quantities and shipping methods against documentation and established requirements.
- Sign for and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and initiate quarantine procedures when required.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and packing slips according to pick tickets and customer specifications.
- Repackage products as needed to meet purchase order requirements and shipping standards.
- Coordinate domestic shipments using UPS and FedEx online systems.
- Coordinate international shipments using UPS, DHL, and FedEx systems, including determining appropriate schedules and tariffs.
- Arrange trucking company shipments and pickups as required.
- Coordinate shipping methods with Customer Service to meet customer delivery expectations.
- Arrange shipping services for molds and assist with loading and unloading molds when necessary.
Inventory & Systems Management
- Utilize IQMRP and IQRF systems daily to maintain accurate inventory records and transaction data.
- Perform all required inventory and material planning transactions to ensure database accuracy and compliance with physical inventory movements.
- Maintain accuracy between system records and physical inventory transactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, Vocational/Technical School certification, or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of related shipping and receiving experience.
- Experience with domestic and international shipping processes.
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize new software and systems.
- Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
