Product Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Product Engineer to design, develop, and support new and existing products. This role involves product development, CAD design, engineering documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to bring products from concept through production.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new products under the guidance of senior engineering staff.
- Lead engineering activities for assigned product lines.
- Support new product launches and production implementation.
- Update and improve existing products and designs.
- Provide technical support to internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models using Autodesk Inventor.
- Develop detailed 2D engineering drawings and documentation.
- Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), item masters, and routing information within an ERP system.
- Manage engineering change requests and related product data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
- 3 years of product design or mechanical engineering experience.
- Strong 3D CAD modeling skills, preferably with Autodesk Inventor.
- Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
- Experience creating detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Sheet metal design experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
