What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at The Davis Companies?
We are hiring for a HR Generalist/Business Partner for our client located in Methuen, MA. This role is a 3-month contract with the possibility of going permanent.

How You Will Make an Impact:
- Provide on-site HR support, expertise, and partnership to meet employee and business needs. Collaborate closely with site leadership, aligning talent strategies with business priorities and ensuring effective implementation.
- Deliver programs, and problem solving in areas such as employee relations, performance management, compensation, workforce planning, leave of absence management, talent development, culture and employee engagement.
- Partner with Managers and Talent Acquisition to assess and meet staffing needs. Deliver onboarding support and orientation.
- Collaborate with site leadership and Total Rewards to ensure competitive compensation.
- Drive compliance and consistency with policy interpretation.
- Facilitate excellence in workplace culture and communications practices, such as a cadence for All Hands meetings, celebration events, recognition, and community support activities.
- Conduct investigations, interviews, inquiries, exit interviews, and focus groups.
- Coach managers to address performance gaps and facilitate Performance Improvement Plans as necessary.
- Leverage internal resources and Talent Management COE to deliver manager/supervisor/Team Lead development.
- Provide proactive and responsive HR support to employees including assistance with leave of absence claims and Benefits changes and enrollment.
- Maintain accurate employee records. Leverage Workday system and manual tracking sheets to assess and report trends.
- Participate in and/or lead projects
Skills you bring:
- 2 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR disciplines, including compensation practices, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, federal and state employment laws.
- Partnering and collaboration skills across various functions and levels.
Preferred Skills
- HR generalist experience at a manufacturing facility
- Workday or similar HRIS

Salary : $40 - $45
