Production Operator – Etch/Plating (1st Shift)
A contract manufacturing is seeking a Production Operator to support daily manufacturing operations within the Etch cell. This is an on?site, 1st shift position located in Hollis, NH.
Shift of the Production Operator:
1st shift -9/80 Week 1: Mon–Thurs 7–4, Fri 7–3 Week 2: Mon–Thurs 7–5 or 6–4 (flexible on start times)
Pay Rate of the Production Operator: $19-21/hr

Responsibilities of the Production Operator:
- Verify etching equipment is in proper working condition prior to use
- Prepare etching and plating chemicals according to routings and manufacturing procedures
- Perform chemical changeovers while using proper PPE
- Inspect substrates for photoresist quality before etching
- Touch up intricate images, holes, and slots using hand/foot dispensers and microscopes
- Wet?etch substrates using both manual and automated methods
- Verify critical dimensions (CDs) using Nikon microscope systems as required
- Perform tape tests and other inspections to ensure quality etching
- Strip photoresist from substrates and conduct 100% inspection for cleanliness
- Operate XRF metal thickness measurement systems
- Document production activities in the ERP system and quality databases
- Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred
- Previous cleanroom experience preferred
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, and industry specifications such as MIL?STD and/or IPC preferred
- Good visual acuity (lens correction as required)
- Ability to perform inspections using a microscope
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings
- Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Detail?oriented, self?motivated, and team?focused mindset
- Strong critical?thinking skills with the ability to use known inputs and outputs to achieve desired results
