What are the responsibilities and job description for the DEPUTY CLERK 2/ NEW CASE CLERK - CLERK OF COURTS position at The County of Adams?
This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with ease and good time management skills as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
Employees are required to operate multiple applications at any given time. To be successful in this position, you must be able to function independently, react quickly and professionally to difficult situations.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in Business or other related field highly preferred OR 2 years’ experience in office environment, OR experience in a court, court related and/or law enforcement office
• Required to be proficient with Microsoft applications specifically O365. Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams are used daily.
• Must be able to operate multiple programs simultaneously.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Proven customer service skills; good judgment; tact and courtesy
