How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead concrete crews on daily field operations, including layout, forming, pouring, finishing, curing, and cleanup.
- Read and interpret drawings, site plans, measurements, grades, and specifications.
- Coordinate concrete deliveries, pump trucks, material needs, tools, and crew assignments.
- Plan daily work around weather, delivery timing, site access, and project priorities.
- Build and check forms, sub-base preparation, grade, slope, layout, and finish quality.
- Train and mentor laborers and junior crew members on safe, efficient concrete practices.
- Communicate clearly with project managers, field leaders, and ownership on schedule, blockers, and progress.
- Maintain safe jobsites and reinforce proper PPE, equipment use, and OSHA-aligned practices.
- Help identify strong laborers who can grow into lead or foreman-level roles.
- Proven concrete field experience with the ability to lead crews and direct daily work.
- Strong knowledge of concrete placement, forming, sub-base prep, finishing, curing, and quality control.
- Ability to read plans, measurements, and specifications and turn them into field execution.
- Experience coordinating labor, materials, deliveries, and equipment.
- Strong communication skills with field crews, project leaders, and support teams.
- Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding construction environments.
- Reliability, accountability, and strong judgment on active jobsites.
- 5 years of concrete construction experience.
- Prior foreman, lead, or crew leadership experience.
- Experience with slabs, piers, sidewalks, foundations, pools, or specialty concrete.
- Experience scheduling pours and coordinating pump trucks.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Valid driver’s license, Class E, or CDL.
- Military or veteran background is welcomed.
