What you’ll do
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the concrete crew to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to facilitate accurate execution of tasks.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for effective project scheduling and tracking.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications, including OSHA regulations.
- Manage contracts and oversee budgeting processes to maintain financial accountability on projects.
- Implement construction estimating techniques to provide accurate material and labor forecasts.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in concrete work, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with project managers to communicate progress updates and address any challenges that arise on-site.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site operations with a focus on concrete work.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead teams effectively.
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in construction management software including Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera for project planning.
- Familiarity with pipeline construction processes and techniques.
