How You Will Make An Impact
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and payroll support.
- Maintain precise financial records, general ledger activity, and monthly reconciliations to ensure complete financial transparency.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for ownership and management review.
- Support leadership by executing detailed job costing, corporate budgeting, and forward-looking financial forecasting.
- Analyze ongoing financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize internal profit margins.
- Coordinate compliance documentation for subcontractors, vendors, insurance requirements, and external audit partners.
- Drive continuous improvement across our accounting systems, internal controls, and financial reporting workflows.
- Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and standard bookkeeping practices.
- Proven experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and complex account reconciliations.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically building financial models and tracking data in Excel.
- Excellent communication and time management skills necessary to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding sensitive corporate and employee financial information.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer terminal for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting, bookkeeping, or corporate financial management experience.
- Hands-on experience working with QuickBooks, construction-specific accounting software, or enterprise ERP systems.
- Prior accounting experience specifically within the construction or emergency property restoration industry.
- Base salary starting at $75,000 annually, commensurate with your professional experience.
