Founded in 1876, The Children's Home of Kingston provides a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for youth and families. Our mission is to strengthen their ability to make positives choices through education, structure, and compassionate care. We are currently seeking a part-time Human Resources Assistant to help continue our legacy of making a lasting impact in the lives of young people.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Assistant will report to the Human Resources Manager and is responsible performing administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. This includes maintaining accurate employee records, responding to employee inquiries, scheduling interviews, assisting with new hire orientation, attending job fairs and coordinating human resource related events.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Associate's degree in human services, business administration or related field required.
- A year of administrative assistant experience required.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in human services, business administration or related field required.
- Two years of administrative experience preferred.
