Overview:
- Role: Direct-hire, Full-time employee
- Location: Irvine, CA – hybrid with 4 days onsite, and ability to travel up to 30% as needed to support Epicor operations in Mexico, vendor visits, training events, other business initiatives, etc.
- Compensation: Starting at $180K plus bonus and excellent benefits.

Your Core Impact
Strategic Leadership: Become the Trusted Technology Advisor
- Develop and execute a multi-year strategy for Epicor ERP and EDI systems, aligning them perfectly with corporate growth and innovation objectives.
- Act as the technology visionary and trusted advisor to the executive team, providing essential insights on ERP optimization and emerging trends.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that demonstrably enhance operational efficiency and deliver measurable ROI.
- Collaborate with key business leaders to identify and prioritize high-leverage opportunities for the ERP system.
ERP & EDI System Oversight: Ensuring Scalability and Reliability
- Direct the planning, design, development, and integration of Epicor ERP systems, ensuring absolute scalability and reliability.
- Lead upgrades, enhancements, and system migrations with minimal business disruption—a smooth transition is key.
- Establish and enforce robust governance processes for ERP system changes, upgrades, and integrations.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies regarding ERP systems and data security.
Team & Project Management: Building a Culture of Excellence
- Manage and mentor a talented team of IT professionals, fostering a dynamic culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all ERP-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs to continuously measure and improve the effectiveness of systems and teams.
Process Improvement & Change Management
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of current ERP configurations, processes, and business requirements to identify and implement strategic improvements.
Education, Experience & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 12 years of IT leadership experience with excellent people skills, and proven ability to align IT strategy with business goals.
- Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving enterprise-wide ERP initiatives.
- Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- 8 years managing ERP systems in Manufacturing environments, with 5-8 years of Epicor specific experience. Proficiency in Epicor ERP system architecture, configuration, and optimization across Distribution, SCM, G/L, A/P, A/R, and Manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in EDI protocols, integration and management, system migrations, and cloud-based ERP solutions is highly desirable.
