Position Summary
This Data & Analytics role is responsible for Carlyle’s marketing analytics strategy and reporting. You will provide data-informed insights to the marketing and business leadership teams that will help to optimize the overarching marketing strategy and deliver commercial outcomes. This position requires both strategic and tactical skills, with equally strong quantitative & qualitative perspectives. The ideal candidate has intellectual curiosity, proficiency at problem solving, a critical understanding of digital and media channels, with the ability to create insights-led reporting narratives that support business decision-making.
In-Office Requirement: 4 days per week
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated data analytics and performance reporting for the global marketing team, inclusive of brand health tracking through to digital marketing campaign delivery (website, content, email, social media, paid media, search, etc.)
- Transform raw data into insights, optimizations and results – with an emphasis on clear and commercial storytelling – that drives actionable marketing and business recommendations
- Help the business prioritize high ROI enhancements to marketing programs that encourage deeper client interactions and ultimately improve conversion metrics over time
- Ensure consistent tracking and analysis of core marketing KPIs across various channels; Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports
- Collaborate with internal teams, technology partners and external vendors to explore, assess and implement new systems and applications (including AI) that will improve data management and reporting
- Develop measurement frameworks that go beyond traditional metrics, incorporating indicators of engagement, influence, and content effectiveness in an evolving digital and AI-driven landscape
- Provide advice on technical data implementation and setup, including backend data cleansing, tagging and taxonomy schema, cookie deployment, paid media campaign tags and tracking
- Lead a test-and-learn approach across channels, using experimentation frameworks to continuously optimize marketing performance and uncover new opportunities
Qualifications
Education & Certificates
- Bachelors Degree, required
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of overall relevant experience, required
- Experience with marketing analytics and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Datorama or similar)
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo)
- Experience with digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and social media management platforms (e.g., Sprinklr or similar)
- Experience with client experience and survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics or similar)
- Experience leveraging AI and automation to enhance marketing analytics, reporting efficiency, and insight generation
- Strong data manipulation and analysis skills (advanced Excel; experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools)
- Prior experience in marketing analytics and/or digital media at a media agency, creative agency or client-side organization.
- Strong understanding of the financial services sector (business models, client targets, etc.)
- Effective quantitative and qualitative skills, with the ability to apply clear and logical thought processes to problem solving and insights delivery
- Deep knowledge of marketing principles, strategies and tactics to inform potential recommendations and actions
- Prior experience with creating and deploying multi-touch attribution models that assess the aggregate impact of marketing campaigns on conversion goals
- Familiarity with developing, managing and analyzing brand tracking studies and client/customer surveys that gauge brand health over time

The compensation range for this role is specific to New York and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated compensation range is between $10,000 to $12,000 per month.
