Accounting Clerk

Location: Dallas, TX (On-site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Rate: $21/hr | Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Flexible)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team at a high-volume Toyota dealership in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have prior automotive dealership experience and a strong understanding of daily accounting functions, including deposits, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

What You’ll Do

• Process and post daily cash receipts and deposits accurately
• Manage accounts receivable, including monitoring balances and following up on outstanding items
• Handle accounts payable, including invoice processing, matching, and vendor payments
• Reconcile schedules and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and accounting procedures
• Communicate with internal departments and vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries
• Maintain organized documentation and filing systems
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Automotive dealership accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and deposits
• Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) preferred
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
