Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Fayetteville, AR. The Purchasing Manager will oversee the procurement process, ensuring that materials, equipment, and services are sourced efficiently and in alignment with project requirements and budgets. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts with vendors, evaluating suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role also involves maintaining vendor relationships, developing purchasing strategies, and collaborating closely with various departments to align procurement activities with company objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation
• Experience in inventory control, cost analysis, and supply chain coordination
• Proficiency in data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry practices is preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; equivalent work experience considered
• Previous experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally in the construction or related industries
