Position Overview
The Vice President of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for driving occupancy growth, revenue performance, and market expansion across The Bristal Assisted Living communities. This role leads the sales strategy for a premium senior living brand, ensuring consistent execution of best-in-class sales practices, exceptional customer experience, and strong community-level performance.
The VP of Sales will partner closely with executive leadership, marketing, operations, and community sales teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives that position The Bristal as the premier choice in luxury assisted living.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed occupancy and revenue targets across all communities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire regional and community sales teams to deliver consistent, high-performance results
- Establish and enforce standardized sales processes, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Drive accountability through regular pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance management
Occupancy & Revenue Growth
- Optimize occupancy across new and existing communities through targeted sales initiatives
- Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies aligned with company growth goals
- Partner with executive leadership on pricing, promotions, and competitive positioning
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to inform strategy
Sales Operations & Excellence
- Implement best-in-class CRM and sales enablement tools to enhance productivity and visibility
- Ensure consistent execution of inquiry handling, tours, follow-up, and conversion practices
- Develop and monitor sales dashboards and reporting to track performance and trends
- Oversee sales training programs and onboarding for all sales personnel
Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing to align lead generation strategies with sales objectives
- Evaluate campaign performance and conversion metrics to optimize ROI
- Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless move-in experiences and resident satisfaction
- Act as a key stakeholder in brand positioning and customer experience initiatives
Talent Development & Culture
- Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing sales talent across the organization
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Coach teams on consultative selling, relationship-building, and customer-centric approaches
- Lead succession planning and leadership development within the sales organization
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or real estate
- Proven track record of driving occupancy growth and exceeding revenue targets
- Experience managing multi-site or regional sales teams
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and financial acumen
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience in luxury senior living or hospitality-driven environments
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Sherpa, or similar platforms)
- Master’s degree or equivalent advanced education
Pay: $190,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
