Job description
At the present time, we are looking for a caring, nurturing Associate Director of Nursing- RN to oversee a staff of resident care aides, medication aides and LPN Supervisors in the busy Wellness/Resident Services Department of our luxury Assisted Living Community. We are looking for someone with strong management skills who can handle emergency situations with tact and professionalism under minimal supervision.
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5:30pm
The ideal candidate will have:
- Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience preferably in an Assisted Living, Nursing Home or similar environment.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ staff supervisory experience in a geriatric setting
- Experience with Assessments, Care Planning and Re-Assessments Strong management and supervisory skills
- An active RN License with the capability of providing excellence in the quality of life of to our residents
- Experience with Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s patients a must
- Must be caring, reliable, ethical and observant with an understanding of MARs and doctors’ orders
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure.
- Use of compassion, tact and courtesy relating with Residents, Resident families, employees, and visitors

Pay: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
