Are you an experienced commercial electrician who enjoys troubleshooting more than repetitive production work?
We are hiring a Lead Commercial Service Technician to support commercial and multifamily customers throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
This is a field-driven role for a licensed Texas Journeyman who can walk into a service call, diagnose the issue, communicate professionally with the customer, and take ownership of getting the job completed correctly.
Responsibilities
- Run commercial and multifamily electrical service calls independently
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment, controls, lighting, and power-distribution systems
- Complete repairs, installations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Lead apprentices and helpers as assigned
- Work directly with property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and customers
- Identify additional service and project opportunities
- Assist with change-order and proposal information
- Prepare service documentation and material lists
- Manage smaller electrical projects
- Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and company vehicle
- Follow company safety procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License
- 5 years of commercial electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Commercial electrical service experience
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to read plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following is highly valued:
- Multifamily properties
- Tenant finish-outs
- Electrical remodels
- Lighting retrofits
- Emergency lighting
- Life-safety systems
- EV charger installations
- Property-management service work
Texas Master Electrician License is a plus.
