Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring adherence to local electrical codes and NFPA 70 standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system installations.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system work safely and efficiently on various construction sites or renovation projects.
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to identify root causes quickly.
- Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components integral to industrial electrical systems.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures diligently, including proper use of hand tools, power tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification with proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical work.
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures.
- Demonstrated experience with industrial electrical systems, high-voltage wiring, troubleshooting electrical systems, reading blueprints, and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment essential for electrical diagnostics.
- Strong background in construction site experience with a focus on renovation projects or new builds within commercial or industrial settings.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints accurately and implement wiring plans accordingly.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, and automation controls is highly desirable.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with a proactive approach to resolving complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Commitment to safety standards including NFPA 70 compliance; previous experience working on construction sites is preferred.

Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
