What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Aide/Housekeeping position at The Birch at Sutherland?
The Birch at Sutherland is hiring full-time and part-time team members to be a part of our Environmental Services Team.
Successful candidates will be cross trained in both laundry and housekeeping roles and some minimal maintenance duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning rooms, hallways, dining areas, etc to meet standards of cleanliness to promote optimal health of our residents.
- Perform laundry services for our residents ensuring personal clothing and linen are clean in returned timely.
- Effectively communicating with staff and residents, along with maintaining a positive attitude
- Maintaining composure in busy situations and complying with facility guidelines and state regulations
- Providing the highest quality of service possible to each of our residents, serving with kindness and compassion
Job Requirements:
- Great attitude, ability to work with a team
- Empathy toward residents
- Previous Nursing home experience is a plus
