Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by their healthcare providers
- Monitor vitals/weights and record medication intake and any adverse reactions
- Perform various tasks related to resident care, including vital sign checks, wound care, and incontinence care
- Assist with resident activities, such as feeding, dressing, and grooming
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and medication administration
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medication Aide training program or equivalent experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Basic knowledge of medication administration and resident care
