The Trust Operations Associate is responsible for the accurate, timely administration and reconciliation of assets held across all account types. This position serves as the department’s primary resource for asset management, ensuring all transactions are completed in accordance with account documents, internal procedures, and applicable regulations. The Trust Operations Associate works closely with Trust Officers, Wealth Advisors, Operations staff, custodians, brokers, and other financial institutions to facilitate asset movement and settlement.
Essential Job Function
- Establish and maintain all asset types within the trust accounting system
- Process and reconcile daily settlement of purchases, sales, dividends, transfers, and other asset-related transactions
- Review and process all incoming and outgoing transfers
- Process security maturities, redemptions, calls, tenders, exchanges, and other mandatory and voluntary corporate actions
- Monitor, communicate, and record Corporate Actions votes
- Research and resolve variances between internal records and custodian or broker records
- Deposit and remove assets from the vault using the dual control system
- Create, maintain, and review the tickler system to ensure matters concerning trust operations receive prompt attention
- Prepare multiple monthly and weekly reports utilized by the department
- Participate in special projects, process improvements, and other departmental initiatives
- Follow all other instructions and perform any other job-related duties
- Utilize risk management tools to ensure that all exceptions are properly addressed and kept to a minimum

Education and Experience
- 2 years of experience in banking, trust operations, or a related financial environment
- Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or business preferred
Full time hours. Monday-Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM
