Customer Service / Dispatch Specialist
Location: Farmingdale, NY
Compensation: $19/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and track appliance part orders from placement through delivery
· Expedite parts and follow up on estimated delivery times (ETAs)
· Communicate with vendors and manufacturers regarding part availability
· Dispatch and route service technicians efficiently within assigned territories
· Manage daily technician schedules, service calls, and call-outs
· Accept and process customer credit card payments (COD)
· Send payment reminders and make collection calls as needed
· Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and Slack messages
· Update service tickets and maintain accurate records
· Provide professional, customer-focused support and resolve service issues
· Handle a high volume of calls while multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Customer service or office support experience required
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities
· Proficient with basic computer systems and internal databases
· Dependable, reliable, and customer-focused
Salary : $19
