- Our client, an expert in energy efficiency and a wholesaler/distributor of HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to support their growing team.
- The Customer Service Representative will support customers, contractors, and internal teams across all aspects of HVAC product inquiries, order management, and project coordination. This role focuses on providing high-level customer support while assisting with product applications, pricing, and order execution to ensure successful project outcomes and long-term customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams, providing responsive and reliable support
- Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing, availability, and order status updates
- Process customer orders, including order entry, tracking, and coordination with internal teams
- Support contractors and customers with project-related needs, ensuring accurate and timely communication
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to confirm pricing, lead times, and product availability
- Work closely with sales and engineering teams to support ongoing projects and customer accounts
- Assist in preparing quotes, product selections, and basic technical information for customers
- Track project progress and follow up on outstanding quotes, orders, and customer requests
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and project updates
- Help resolve customer issues related to orders, deliveries, and product concerns in a timely manner
- Support internal teams by providing updates on customer needs, project timelines, and order status
- Stay informed on product offerings, applications, and industry trends to better support customers
- Provide a high level of customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales support, or account coordination
- Experience working in HVAC, mechanical, distribution, or construction-related industries is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 75K/year
