We are recruiting for an Administrative Coordinator to support the Nursery School department for our nonprofit client. This position involves a wide range of operational, administrative, and communication tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the school. Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact which includes greeting visitors, responding to inquiries, and ensuring timely and professional follow-up.Support the Director of the Nursery School with all aspects of the admissions process, including participation in info sessions, school tours, and related tasks.Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records for all students and families, including confidential medical, financial, billing, and educational information.Manage classroom budgets by ordering supplies, tracking expenses, and reconciling invoices through the digital accounts payable system.Serve as the primary interdepartmental contact, ensuring effective communication across the organization.Liaison between parents and the school, drafting and proofreading communication and ensuring information flows seamlessly among students, families, faculty, and staff.Coordinate events in partnership with school administrators, overseeing logistics and coordination from start to finish. Experience, Skills & QualificationsAdministrative experience, ideally within a school or educational setting.Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in Early Childhood Education is a plus.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent written/verbal/presentation skills are required.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing deadlines. Company DescriptionThe Bachrach Group (TBG) is a New York-based staffing and recruiting agency founded in 1974 by Richard Bachrach.
