Facilities Supervisor (P-98, S12/13, S95)

We are seeking a Facilities Supervisor for a temporary, full-time position supporting our Empower program. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in facility maintenance, supervisory experience, and the required certifications (or a willingness to obtain them within an agreed timeframe).Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)Pay Rate: 32.00 per hourType: Temporary, Full-TimeDutiesRecruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff.Develop and execute a preventative maintenance plan, including fire safety, OSHA, and other system requirements.Manage and monitor work orders, ensuring timely completion.Track maintenance activities, work orders, inventory, and purchases using a computerized maintenance system.Respond to emergency calls outside of regular working hours.Assist in preparing the capital budget.Ensure timely completion and filing of all regulatory inspections.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma (or equivalent).3 years of building maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.Basic computer skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.Required Certifications (Any 3 of the following licenses) P-98: Fuel-oil Piping and Storage Systems (must-have).S-12: Citywide Sprinkler Systems / S-11 Residential Sprinkler Systems.S-13: Citywide Standpipe Systems.S-95: Supervision of Fire Alarm Systems and related systems.F-80: Coordinator of Fire Safety and Alarm Systems in Homeless Shelters.Company DescriptionThe Bachrach Group (TBG) is a New York-based staffing and recruiting agency founded in 1974 by Richard Bachrach.
