• Schedule: 3:30pm-12:00am OR 12:00am-8:30am

## Position Summary

The Janitor II provides janitorial services at contract job sites in accordance with industry standards. This role supports a clean, safe, and professional environment while contributing to Assets, Inc.'s mission and core values.

## Key Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and restroom cleaning
• Clean windows, carpets, floors, blinds, and upholstery
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, and extractors
• Follow OSHA safety standards and site-specific requirements
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers
• Participate in trainings and team meetings
• Support team operations and workplace expectations
• Provide on-the-job guidance or coaching to other employees as needed
• Complete all required training
• May be required to obtain security clearance depending on site
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

## Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; OR
• Six (6) months of janitorial experience; OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to follow simple instructions and complete assigned tasks
• Ability to communicate basic information verbally and in writing
  
  

## Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with general cleaning and disinfecting practices
• Experience with floor care equipment
• Familiarity with janitorial tools and cleaning procedures

## Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly, 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs with assistance

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and moving equipment
• Occasional exposure to electrical risk
