- Hours: 30-40 hrs/wk
- Schedule: Varies based on contract needs (may include mornings, evenings, weekends)

**Position Summary**
The Dishwasher II supports kitchen and dining operations by cleaning dishes and assisting with light janitorial duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment manually or using dish machines
- Operate dishwashing equipment, including loading and unloading racks
- Sort dishes, glassware, and silverware by type
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas
- Perform light janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and cleaning restrooms
- Bus tables and keep service areas stocked and organized
- Follow OSHA safety standards and food sanitation guidelines
- Complete required food handler training and company trainings
- Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and customers
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
- Previous dishwashing, janitorial, or food service experience preferred
- Ability to follow simple instructions and complete assigned tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Employees working this site will be required to follow Providence vaccine requirements including: TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, and annual influenza vaccine.
- Familiarity with dishwashing equipment and cleaning tools
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and cleaning chemicals (MSDS)
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
- Exposure to wet conditions, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment
- Fast-paced environment with moderate to loud noise levels
