Step into a high-impact operational leadership role supporting a dynamic NYC summer camp program. As the Operations Coordinator (Administrative Lead), you’ll serve as the central hub for communication, logistics, and enrollment—ensuring a seamless daily experience for families, campers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
Family & Camper Experience
- Welcome families during morning drop-off and oversee daily sign-in/out procedures
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents (in person, phone, and email)
- Support add-on services including lunch orders, merchandise, and extended care
- Maintain a polished, professional, and service-oriented front-facing presence
- Communicate proactively with families regarding updates, balances, and onboarding
Enrollment & Administrative Operations
- Manage daily enrollment updates through registration platforms (e.g., Amilia)
- Maintain accurate rosters, attendance records, and camper documentation
- Organize medical forms, waivers, and compliance paperwork
- Prepare weekly and daily operational reports and rosters
- Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready
Communication & Coordination
- Own the camp inbox and phone communications, ensuring timely responses
- Partner closely with the Camp Director on priorities and daily execution
- Support internal communication including staff updates and weekly newsletters
- Coordinate across departments to ensure alignment and preparedness
Operational & Logistical Support
- Support daily camp setup including materials, forms, and supplies
- Coordinate weekly orders (lunch, supplies, groceries)
- Assist with inventory tracking and distribution (e.g., apparel, materials)
- Handle general administrative tasks including printing, filing, and organization
- Step in to support evolving operational needs throughout the camp day
What You Bring
Required
- Minimum age: 25
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Full availability from mid-June through mid-August
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in operations, administration, office management, or camp settings
- Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach
- Comfortable managing multiple systems (registration software, spreadsheets, email)
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational discipline
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
