Pay Rate/Range: $17-22/hr
Description: The Layup Technician is responsible for using fiberglass and/or composite materials to produce quality parts according to job orders and training from senior team members. Key duties include following process specifications, preparing tools, measuring materials, completing necessary paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Attention to detail, general knowledge of composites, and a commitment to teamwork and punctuality are essential. The technician is also expected to communicate effectively with supervisors, assist with other tasks such as machining or assembly, and help train fellow employees as needed.
Job Requirements: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of six months of relevant experience, demonstrating basic skills and familiarity with the work environment.
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
