What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at The Arnold Group?

Pay Rate/Range: $20-30/hr.
Description: Operates and sets up precision machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders to manufacture metal parts according to blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications. Calculates dimensions and tolerances and uses precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to inspect completed parts for accuracy and defects. Responsible for adjusting machine feeds and speeds, securing tooling and materials, troubleshooting equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring machines operate efficiently. Works closely with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and improve machining processes. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area while properly handling scrap and waste materials and following all company safety and environmental procedures. This is a long term opportunity in a climate controlled manufacturing environment!
Job Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of precision machining experience is required. High school diploma or GED is required.
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available
